    About Me: Singing Spongebob songs, watching cartoons, homework assignments, choir concerts, plays, spending time at the playground, wiping snotty noses, reminding them to wash their hands... these are things that I do on a daily basis. Yeah, you guessed it... I'm a MOM! My son Jonathan is a brilliant, artistic, and funny little 10-year old. My daughter, Julia is a fun-loving, spunky, little 6 year old who just loves to play. That is all the kids I have and WILL EVER HAVE. I feel like if I had another child I would too busy with my first 2 kids along with my obligations of life to throughly give him/her the attention he/she would deserve. Ya know? I have a kitty too named Niles. But, before all that, I got married almost 11 years ago in a small town in Ohio to Dave, my loving & "superman" of a husband. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I live 1600 miles away from where I grew up. I lived the last 27 years in Northeast Ohio (the last 10 moving from suburban town to suburban town trying to find the right "fit"). I miss it from time to time. The main thing that I miss about it is all my family & the great friends I left behind when moving to Austin. But, I'm surviving just fine in the Live Music Capitol of the US... basking in the sun whenever I get a chance and keeping busy doing fun things every weekend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would like to hear from all my friends, MOMS, former or current co-workers, former classmates, and family. Oh, and anyone who shares my political views.
    Music: I like everything; however I'm not into country that much at all (I know I live in Texas). I don't like hip-hop or rap that much either. Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews Band, Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Cake, Sublime, 311, The Who, Santana, REM, GREEN DAY, Jack Johnson, Frou Frou, Jem, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Soul Coughing, Caesars, Interpol, Widespread Panic, PHISH, Paul Simon, Jimi Hendrix, Modest Mouse, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Get Set Go
    Movies: I love comedies, romantic-comedies, and dramas. Not into horror movies, they scare me!
    TV: old episodes of Frazier & Seinfeld, The Office, My name is Earl, The Knights of Prosperity, Ugly Betty, Medium, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, and of course, Grey's Anatomy
    Books: Don't read very much AT ALL. But trying to change that. I do like a good mystery/suspense, but LOVE books about politics.
    Likes: camping, traveling in my car, listening to "tunnage," spending time with my family and friends, avoiding work as much as possible (though I need to work on that one), parks, politics and more politics!
